Between 1800- 1848 was the period when the United States started to develop what we can call Modern democracy and they celebrated their new national culture, this was the period they transit to adopting a more participatory form of democracy that ushered in voting by all adult white men, this lead to the growth of political parties.
Their established national political parties began to debate on national issues such as tariffs, relating with European powers etc.
Between 1820s and 1830 there was the establishment of new political parties led by Andrew Jackson in which the democrats was established.
