What condictions after world war i led to the rise of the dictatirships in some countries?

The country was in pretty bad shape, and people were desperate to find a great leader who would help put the country back into good shape. It didn't matter who it was, as long as they promised to do things to change the country, and people just went with that because of how desperate they were.
