Ответ:
Japan concluded that the USA would not act to stop them in their invasion in China. The president Hoover was more concerned about the onset of economic depression at home than with Japanese troops invading the northeast province of China, Manchuria. When the League of Nations condemned Japanese aggression in China, Japan simply withdrew from the League in 1933. One reason that Americans were so indifferent about Japanese aggression in China is that the problems at home were so severe and getting worse.
