What do these women—dorothea dix, harriet tubman, and clara barton—have in common?

Clara Barton, Dorothea Dix, and Harriet Tubman are all women who served as nurses during the Civil War. These women tended to wounded soldiers and made the profession of nursing more open to women during the Civil War. They work had a huge impact on the war efforts.

I have the same assignment. I can give you some basic info about whats going on in this lesson. The Appilachian mountains are in northeast region. The tribes bartered. They shared a common religon with the meso people because they felt a deep respect with nature. Texas is in the Southwest native american region.  Native Americans lived in Canada as well as America. They lived in different shelters, some made of wood, others made of long sticks and animal hide (teepees)
