Civil disobedience in the form of protest and resilience. It means to break a law in a peaceful manner, in order for no one to get hurt. It is usually developed in a way to prove the point, to directly oppose the law which is considered to be harmful, and to oppose the idea of injustice.

It always has to be nonviolent, so it does not hurt anyone, so it is part of other forms of peaceful protests.

The most famous instances of civil disobedience would be Gandhi’s salt march (when he purposely carried to grants of salt and marched to protest British salt laws in India) or Rosa Parks bus boycott (when she refused to stand up and give a seat in a bus to a white man, as segregation laws instructed).

They explored lands they were unfamiliar with and they usually explored counties that they had no previous knowledge of. They often underprepared for they're trip, or they met with native tribes who felt the explorers were a threat.
