Thomas Payne was born in England in 1737, he wrote the Common Sense. The pamphlet tried to make Americans understand about the independence from Great Britain. Even George Washington used his texts to mobilize the troops for freedom of the US. His later writings were against the organized religion. The most radical idea presented by Thomas Paine in common sense was that he talked about creating an American republic that would inspire common people everywhere to reject kings. the idea was considered to be radical because not many common people believed in creating the American republic.
