What was the effects of the industrial revolution on the upper class?

The rich got even richer. The industrial revolution only made them prosper more.

The Middle class moved into the upper class and were able to build bigger homes, send kids to good schools, get involved in the arts, etc.

The sea was important  to the Greeks because it gave the transportation that they needed to get to other places, and it also helped kept enemies from attacking Greece, because most enemies wouldn't make it across the sea, and would have to travel on land.
