I believe the most fascinating cause of the civil war was the fact that they were fighting for the slaves. I know now that we are all human and are all equal. However, if you think about it during that time. They were just property to these people. So, why did people decide that all those people had to die. More than World War I and II combined died there. So, how did they come to that conclusion that must happen?
That is why I believe slavery is the most fascinating cause of the civil war.
