Firstly, Hitler's campaign was bizarre as he greatly expressed his hate for Jews and communist as well as blaming a lot of mistakes onto them. In a nutshell, he was radical.
Believe it or not, America greatly helped with financial support as the Dawes plan reduced the German debt heavily from WWI. As well as this, the Young Plan loaned Germany a large sum of money to build basic infrastructure and also to get the economy running again.
The fall of U.S. stock market benefitted the Nazi Party as this heavily destabilized Germany due to the same thing that helped the German economy run again. USA demanded its loans back which affected the Weimar Republic heavily as they lost support due to their failures. This led to radical parties gaining popularity in Germany as the people felt they had no other choice.
Himmler had told Hitler that he wanted the SS to be a group of elite Aryans (Hitler believed that Aryans are the most superior race as well as other Nazi followers) soldiers who are very loyal to the Nazi party and especially Hitler,
