I don't really know if this works but you can confess using a song, so like if she rejects you can just say it's a lyrics prank. That is if you're trying to confess to her by texting.

And if you don't want to ruin your friendship just because you confessed, just use this, cause I've heard that sometimes when someone confess to a friend that person would start to ignore or something, and say that "You're the reason our friendship is ruined now". I'm not saying everyone but this is what it is for me.
