7) (46 points) I am looking to get a set of bass strings for my 7-string bass. I want the tension of this set of strings to have the most similar tension to each other. Using the info from tension.stringjoy.com
and the formula:
Gauge(+1) = 0.75*Gaugen)
To calculate the string gauge needed for my bass. You will find that the formula above does not always give
a string gauge that is offered by the company. So, I want you to tell me what string gauge is calculated and
which string you had to choose. For example, if I start with a 100 gauge string. I would calculate 75,56.25,
42.19, etc. However, I would have to choose 100,75,55, 40, etc. I also want the tension of those chosen
strings. I also want to know what the average tension is, and the standard deviation for those tensions.
(Watch the video I made if you need help.)
