-16t^2+18t+8=10
-16t^2+18t-2=0
-16t^2+16t+2t-2=0
-16t(t-1)+2(t-1)=0
(-16t+2)(t-1)=0
So the ball is at 10ft at 0.125s and 1s. So it enters the hoop after 1 second. Of course this is dependent on if I guessed at the correct equation from the picture.
