For number one

7^2 + b^2 = 12^2
Or 49 + x^2 = 144
And we solve the equation so
X^2 = 144 - 49
X^2 = 95
The answer to one is the square root of 95 (which is about 9.74679434)

For number 2 the same follows
A^2 + 12^2 = 15^2
A^2 + 144 = 225
A^2 = 81
A = the square root of 81 (which is 9)

For the last one
8^2 + b^2 = square root of 164
