This is going to require a good bit of division. I am going to turn the mixed fractions into improper fractions. Remember that to divide fractions, you take the 2nd fraction, flip it, and multiply.

First (2 1/2)/(1/4) = (5/2)(4) = 20/2 = 10

Next, 3/(1/4) = 3(4) = 12

Lastly, (3 1/4)/(1/4) = (13/4) x 4 = 52/4 = 13

This means we need 10 rows of 12, 13 high. 10(12)(13) = 1560 cubes.

This triangle is split into two. Well if we use this information we can find all of the angles. The X, has a relationship with the first half of a triangle. Since we know all triangle's angles add up to 180º we would do the math.

So 60º+45º+xº=180

We add our like terms

105º+xº=180º

we take out 105 by subtracting it to 180

Now we have x=75

Now we look at Y. The only familiar thing that I can is that it is a supplementary angle to X

And we know that supplementary angles add up to 180º.

So we use our X information to solve this.

75º+Yº=180º

We subtract 75 from both sides to take it out.

Y=105
