Ed's Feed and Seed creates three custom grass mixes it sells in their retail stores. These mixes are made from three types of seed they purchase from a supplier: tall fescue, mustang fescue, and bluegrass.
Requirements for the custom mixes are in the table at the left. Ed's want to produce 1200 lbs of the Wrigley Mix,
900 lbs of the Pasture Mix, and 2400 lbs of the DuroTurf Mix for the coming growing season.
Ed's costs for the purchased seeds are $1.70/lb for tall fescue, $2.80/lb for mustang fescue, and $3.25 for bluegrass.
Ed wants to know how many pounds of each seed type to purchase to minimize cost.
Create a spreadsheet model and use Solver to determine how much seed of each type to purchase.
Write a sentence to summarize the solution.

Grass Mix Mix Requirements
Wrigley No more than 50% tall fescue
At least 20% mustang fescue
Pasture At least 30% bluegrass
At least 30% mustang fescue
No more that 20% tall fescue
DuroTurf At least 50% but no more than 70% tall fescue
At least 10% bluegrass

The ads don’t work for me! Here’s my trick. I ask my question and then I close the tab and delete my search history and ask either the same or different question. It works but it’s a pain to do. Also if you type in your question and doesn’t come up then type into your search bar. So that’s my trick. I hope someone comes up with a better idea tho.
