And the are of actual tiles = $6 \times \frac{9}{4} =\frac{27}{2}$ sq. inches

Hence, the ratio of the area of a tile in the models to the area of an actual tile is $\frac{\frac{1}{6} }{\frac{27}{2} } =\frac{1}{81}$ i.e. 1 : 81

or, we can find the ratio in the other was as $\frac{1}{6} :\frac{27}{2} = 1 :81$ (Answer)
