The two cities Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Lake Charles, Louisiana, lie on the 93° W longitudinal line. The latitude of Minneapolis is 45° N (45° north of the equator) whereas the latitude of Lake Charles is 30° N. The radius of Earth is approximately 3960 mi.
