The only thing that is different is that in an inequality-type problem, the numbers are separated by signs representing "greater than" "less than" "equal to or greater than" and ect. In an inequality, you also may need to plot your answer on a number line. With equations, you simply use PEMDAS and do whatever you did to one side to the other as well.
