How to convert a fraction into a decimal

There is a very easy way to convert a fraction into a decimal. We first must know that a fraction is a division problem in disguise meaning that it's the same thing. For example, is the same thing as 2 ÷ 3

An easy way to do this is read the fraction as it were a division problem. This means that the number on top of a fraction the numerator will divide by the denominator.

Trying to factor by splitting the middle term

2.2     Factoring  4y2 + 6y + 9  

The first term is,  4y2  its coefficient is  4 .

The middle term is,  +6y  its coefficient is  6 .

The last term, "the constant", is  +9  

Step-1 : Multiply the coefficient of the first term by the constant   4 • 9 = 36  

Step-2 : Find two factors of  36  whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is   6 .

Observation : No two such factors can be found !!  

Conclusion : Trinomial can not be factored
