Mathematics
I got lost in a dreamlike world filled with labelled distances in some unknown, but regular way.
White chalky letters on a black floor read: one foot, 3 1/2 feet, six feet, 8.1212 feet, etc. After
one second of realizing my situation, I was at some point marked "six feet". I knew that, at that
precise moment, I was moving at 2 ft/s, but I got scared and accelerated at a rate of 4 ft/s2; all in an
instant. I kept track of my motions and decided to move along a quadratic path.
It has been 10 seconds since then. What number should be at my feet?
