(b) the distributor also tells ms. ann that they use a special freezer to store the dry ice. dry ice is usually stored at –99of. the average household freezer can only be set to –18of at the lowest setting. how many times colder is the special freezer than an average household freezer? show your work.
(c) the distributor says his 5 smallest freezers are set at –86.4o f, –80.2of, –84.1of, –90.2of, and
–79.9of. record the numbers in order from least to greatest.

(e) the highest temperature that is recommended for storing dry ice is –78.5of. the distributor says that, because of the amount of dry ice he has, he stores his larger blocks of dry ice in the big freezer which is 15.5of below that temperature. what is the temperature of the big freezer? show your work.
(f) the distributor suggests to ms. ann that she not store the dry ice in the freezer or the refrigerator because the huge difference in temperature might make the freezer or refrigerator shut down. ms. ann’s refrigerator is usually set at 35of. what is the difference in temperature between ms. ann’s refrigerator and the distributor’s freezer? show your work.
