Im so confused how how how do you do this

10% of 30,000 is 3,000
30,000 - 3,000 = 27,000
When it askes for net income, it is basically asking what you make with taxes taken out.
So, since the tax is 10%, you just subtract 10% of 30,000 from 30,000

I believe the answer is $27,000.
You make $30,000 a year before taxes, and when you subtract your taxes (which take away from your income) you pay $3,000. To figure out the taxes, you multiply 30,000 by 10%, or 30,000÷0.1. this is equal to 3,000, which you then subtract from 30,000
