First we need to form the biggest and smallest number out of these digits. To do this it's pretty simple - just order the numbers from greatest to least for the greatest number, and from least to greatest for the least number! (However, for the least number, we will have to put the zero in front of 2, the second least number, because we can't put 0 in front of 2 and still be actually using it in the number.)

Greatest: 765420

Least: 204567

Now we add the numbers together:

765420 +  204567 = 969987

Now we subtract the numbers:

765420 -  204567 = 560853
