The product of the dimension must be 16.
In the first line, you have 1*1*16=16.
In the second line, you have 1*2*8=16.
In the third line, you start with 1 again. So, you need two more numbers that give 16 when multiplied, which are not 2 and 8. You don't have many choices.. :)
Similarly, in the last line, you start with 2. This means that the two missing numbers must give 8 when multiplied, and they can't be 1 and 8 (already used in the second line). Again, there are not many options.
