First: subtract 2 from both sides
7x + 2 - 2 > 30 - 2
7x + 0 > 28
Combine like terms when you subtract.
Subtract from 2 and 30 since they are the only like terms

Second divide both sides by 7

1x + 0 > 4

You do this with all of the problems for example: The first one. Sue is 72 inches and Khalid is 54. Add them together and subtract them by 6 to get your final answer.
