(the / is a fraction bar not a division symbol)

Since it is hard to tell what the graph is by your description i will just put the definitions down and you see by yourself: a coincident system is two lines that are on the same slope and y- intercept (the same line). if you see only one line then it is coincident. if you don't it is not coincident.a inconsistent system is when the two lines are parallel. if they are parallel they are inconsistent because they will never meet.a consistent system is when two lines actually do meet. remember that the problem states which is the  best  describes the graph.an independent system system is when the two lines meet at least once.
