What would be the best method to use in order to solve the following quadratic equation? x²+8=72
1) completing the square
2) factoring
3) quadratic formula
4) taking the square root

I’ve been stuck on the same problem and no one will me with the answer : /

Taking the square root, as 3 and 1 would be for more complex equations with squares, and factorising doesnt really make sense.

If the pool has a diameter of 32 feet, we use the formula C = pi*d to calculate the circumference

C = (32 ft)*pi, or approx. 100.53 ft.  Because 32 ft has no decimal fraction part, it'd make more sense to round off 100.53 ft to 101 ft (which is the answer to the nearest unit).
