ok im not sure this is the right answer to your specific question, because i dont understand the wording to well, but here...
for 1/7 and 1/2 it would be 2/7 and 1 (whole)
for 1 and 1/7 it would be 2(whole) and 2/7
for 1 and 2/7 it would be 2(whole) and 4/7
for 4/9 it would be 8/9 and x
and for 2/9 it would be 4/9 and x

EDIT: its the second one because
2*1/7= 2/7
and 1/2*2=1
