A.Square
B. Regular hexagon
E. Equilateral triangle
Step-by-step explanation:
When we cover a space with a repeating pattern of a flat geometric shapes so that there should have no overlaps or gaps, then the surface is known as a tessellation.
A regular tessellation is tessellation made up by using only one type of regular polygon. These are made up of completely congruent regular polygons all that connecting vertex to vertex.
Regular polygons have congruent straight sides. When we slide or rotate a regular polygon, the side of the original figure and the side of its translation will match.
Equilateral triangles, squares and regular hexagons are the only regular polygons that tessellate. Therefore, there are only three regular tessellations.
A. Square B. Regular hexagon E. Equilateral triangle
