Hey there!
If lines a parallel, they will have the same slope. If they had different slopes, they would eventually intersect and therefore not be parallel.
On our line P, we can see the points (-6,-3) and (3,3)
We calculate the slope by dividing the difference in the y's by the difference of the x's.
Our slope is 2/3, so any line parallel would also have a slope of C. 2/3.
I hope this helps!
