A puck of mass 1 is tied to a string and allowed to revolve in a circle
of radius R on a frictionless, horizontal table. The other end of the
string passes through a small hole in the center of the table, and an
object of mass 2 is tied to it. The suspended object remains in
equilibrium while the puck on the tabletop revolves. Find symbolic
expressions for (a) the tension in the string, (b) the radial force acting
on the puck, and (c) the speed of the puck. (d) Qualitatively describe
what will happen in the motion of the puck if the value of 2 is
increased by placing a small additional load on the puck. (e) Qualitatively describe what will happen
in the motion of the puck if the value of 2 is instead decreased by removing a part of the hanging
load.

Explanation:
The attached figure shows data for the cart speed, distance and time.
For low fan speed,
Distance, d = 500 cm
Time, t = 7.4 s
Average velocity for low fan speed,
Acceleration for low fan speed,
For medium fan speed,
Distance, d = 500 cm
Time, t = 6.4 s
Average velocity for medium fan speed,
Acceleration for medium fan speed,
For high fan speed,
Distance, d = 500 cm
Time, t = 5.6 s
Average velocity for high fan speed,
Acceleration for high fan speed,
1. The acceleration of the cart with Low fan speed is 9.12 cm/s².
2. The acceleration of the cart with Medium fan speed is 12.2 cm/s².
3. The acceleration of the cart with High fan speed is 15.94 cm/s²
