A. The pressure is greater at the bottom of the container
Explanation;Pressure is the force acting on a given area. Pressure in fluids is given by the product of density, depth and the gravitational acceleration. Therefore, an increase in the depth of a given fluid, results to a corresponding increase in pressure, and thus the pressure in liquids increases with depths.Hence, in this case the pressure will be higher a the bottom of the container. Additionally, apart from the depth being higher at the bottom of the container resulting to high pressure, the pressure at the bottom of the container is higher because it is the sum of atmospheric pressure and the pressure due to liquid column.
