Horizontal component is given by :
=F cos θ
=5 cos 30°
= 5×0.866
= 4.33 N
Vertical component is given by :
= F sin θ
= 5 sin 30°
= 5×0.5
= 2.5 N
Therefore, horizontal and vertical component are 4.33 N and 2.5 N.
Hence, this is the required solution.
