Sensory memory is the capacity to keep impressions stored in the sensory information immediately after the original stimuli stop. It has the ability to store whatever the senses see, touch, tastes or hear temporarily. There are, however, three types of sensory memory namely; Echoic memory, Iconic Memory, and Haptic memory with each having its functions.
