Explanation: Biculturalism can be simply defined as the state whereby an individual is ADAPTED to two SEPARATE cultures.

Kalervo Oberg born 1901 was a Canadian anthropologist. Oberg is best known for applying the term culture shock to all people who travel abroad into new cultures. He identified 4 stages of culture shock which are;

1) Honeymoon

2) Negotiation

3) Adjustment

4) Adaptation also known as the bicultural stage.
