Due to the provisions of the Violence Against Women Act, police responding to a domestic dispute are required to make an arrest if there are obvious signs of violence. Ken and Barbie are in a domestic dispute which has caused a neighbor to call the police. Just before the police arrive Barbie slams Ken in the face with a folding chair, breaking his nose.
