Motivation theory shows a herarchy of needs by which people motivations are moved. It is most importat for a person to be motivated to achive personal goals, to buy things and so on. In order for that to happened safty needs have to be covered first.

According to this theory a consumer would first take care of his safety needs before luxury needs, or social needs.

The Enlightenment encouraged political and social change by emphasizing the rights and freedoms of all human beings.
