It is false that The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus was a pyramid shaped building with a 25 foot statue on it.
Option B
Explanation:
The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus is a tomb which housed the remains of Mausolus and Artmesia II of Caria. This mausoleum is located in present day Turkey, which was a part of the Persian Empire. It is built in a Greek style. This gets included in the Seven Wonders of the World not because of its size. But because of its beauty appearance and the way it was decorated with sculptures or ornaments.
At the top of this part of the tomb were thirty-six thin columns, ten on each side, and each corner divided the column into two sides. These columns increased the monument's height by more than a third. Each pole was 12 meters high and 3 meters from a neighbour.
The spaces were occupied by a statue. Behind the columns was a massive, cell-like washer with the mass of a huge tomb roof. This roof, as tall as the columns, had the shape of a pyramid and consisted of 24 step centred on the highest point.
