Which has more gravitational potentail energy a bird in a tree or a bird on the ground

Gravitational potential energy is when an object is its compared to the lower position. A bird on a tree  would be having more gravitational potential energy because the bird is in a high position compared to the bird on the ground.

A bird in a tree, because it has the potential to fall 6 feet or so to the ground as a result of gravity. The bird on the ground would only fall an inch if not less as a result of gravity.
