Explanation:
The Trail of Tears was incredibly terrible. There was no excuse for Americans to do that other than greed. Imagine you and your family/ tribe all lived together peacfully and the only thing that you ever had to worry about was learning to hunt/ gather. All of a sudden, one day, random strangers who you didn't invite barge into your home, grab you and your family and make you walk thousands of miles away from your home just so that they can destroy it and build their homes on top of it. And if you took a break when walking, you would be beaten or killed. You might even see your best friends or your closest family members drop from starvation, dehydration, or disease and not get back up. If you were a Cherokee, don't you think that you would have a problem with the simple term 'relocation'? It is incredibly offensive. I hope that I cleared this up for you some.
