Francois Boucher had a very succesful career as a royal painter, and spent most of his life decorating Versailles and Fountainebleau.
Explanation:
Francois Boucher was a Rococo painter from the French school, known for its lovely, sweet paintings with a sensual undertone. Together with Jean-Honore Fragonard, Jean-Baptiste Simeon Chardin, Jean-Baptiste Greuze and Jean Antoine Watteau, he is one of the most important representatives of French rococo. He made several portraits of Madame de Pompadour.
In addition to paintings, Boucher made wall decorations for the Palace of Versailles, designed tapestries and made chinos. Boucher also designed stage sets and costumes for the opera in Paris.
