By the late Renaissance , some people had become dissatisfied with the Catholic Church. The peole had felt it had grown too rich and invested in polotics, they belived it was neglecting its spiritual responsibilities. This event was resolved by the people leaving and thus the rise of Protestantism. I belive the event could have been better solved by both sides of the conflict could have come together and agreed on terms. However, I do belive it was best to be resolved the way it was, by a split in the church.
