Explanation:

Pituitary gland is responsible for stimulating the release of all the essential hormones from our body. If pituitary hormones are not produced in sufficient amount then a complex problem known as growth hormone deficiency is caused. In absence of multiple pituitary hormones, hypopituitarism is caused.  

Some of the complications caused because of this deficiency are –  

a) Reduced size of body and organs  

b) Lower energy level and density of bone material  

c) High risk of cardiovascular problems
