The fruit eating bats exhibit several adaptations that help them to catch fruits, cut and swallow them.
Explanation:
The claws of the fruit bat help in opening fruit. These serves as knife to cut the fruit. The fruit bat have long tongue that aid in unrolling and feeding the fruit. When the bat is not eating the fruit the tongue roll back up. The tongue is tucked away into the rib cage rather. The teeth also help in penetrating and tearing the fruit.
