Explanation:
A balanced chemical reaction equation is one in which the number of atoms of each element on the reactants side is equal to the number of atoms of each element on the product side.
We can balance the equation by carrying out an atom count, that is, we count the atoms of each element on the reactant side and on the products side.
For instance;
Carbon has one atom on both sides of the reaction equation
Oxygen has four atoms on both sides of the reaction equation
Hydrogen has four atoms on both sides of the reaction equation.
Hence we can say that the reaction equation is balanced.
