Everything humans have needed to survive, was provided by the natural world around us: food, water, medicine, materials for shelter, and even natural cycles such as climate and nutrients.
Some examples of these include humans’ preference for scenes dominated by natural elements, the sustainability of natural resources, and the health benefits associated with engaging with nature.
Of these examples, the impacts of the human-nature relationship on people’s health have grown with interest as evidence for a connection accumulates in the research literature . Such connection has underpinned a host of theoretical and empirical research in fields, which until now have primarily remained as separate entities.
