Can someone briefly explain this assignment instructions. I don't understand. Don't do it for me just explain it. Using specific examples from the text, make an argument for the character of one of the characters in The Importance of Being Earnest. What kind of person are they? Good? Moral? Shallow? You don’t need to actually write the essay, just make an assertion (as discussed previously), and outline your main points, including the specific quotes, examples, and excerpts from the play to support those points. Be sure to include all of the elements discussed, including hook, exigence, thesis, body of support, topic sentence, intro to support, support, and warrant, and conclusion. These elements don’t necessarily need to be in complete sentences (although, for quotes, it is a good idea to include the whole quote). This can be in whatever format you choose, as long as it is a visual representation/map of the organization of the essay.

I believe it's asking to make an argument about a character of your choosing from the play; first judge their character. It gave examples, aka asking whether or not you think they have morals, if they are shallow/two-faced and etc. You must provide evidence for your points through quotes and examples of the character's actions.
Ex: "I believe John Smith is an assertive and front-faced character who has a set of values that he believes in and wields. When being confronted about a rumor that slandered his friend's name, he denied being involved and told who originally started the rumor. With this you can see that John Smith is a loyal friend." Or something along that lol. ^^^
