A soldier came by and told us to assemble at the front of the camp. General Washington came riding up on his white horse with a book in his hand. He looked proud in that moment. Or at least from where I was standing in the back. He spoke loud and clear and when he finished many soldiers threw their hats in the and cheered. Today is a good day.
