In Act V, Scene III, of "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare, Romeo begs the intruder to leave when he hears someone in Juliet's tomb. Paris goes to Juliet's tomb. While being there he hears a noise and hides. Paris sees Romeo from his hiding place and recognizes the man who killed Tybalt. Paris thinks that Romeo is going to damage the Capulets' tomb and tries to arrest him. Romeo begs Paris to leave because he is in a most desperate state.
