HELP In most novels complex characters are developed over the course of the narrative through their actions and speech. As a reader, you must interpret what the narrator and/or other characters tell you about any particular character. Consider what scout (as the narrator) tells us about what she and Jim believed to be true about Atticus when they were children. Then, consider how Atticus proves otherwise.

After you have considered these two ideas please write a one paragraph response, with textual evidence, for the problem.

Prompt: do you agree or disagree with Scout and Jem‘s assessment that their father is old and feeble? Explain.
